Join FiLiA for an ONLINE, women-only workshop where we will support you to complete objections to the strip club renewal applications for the three strip clubs in Cardiff.
After the successful online Welsh launch of our research on how Women feel about the strip clubs in their cities, Life near Strip Clubs, we can now confirm that the three strip clubs in Cardiff have submitted their renewal applications for 2026. To support women, local or otherwise, to complete and submit objections, we are holding two online sessions, with the first on Wednesday 2nd September at 7 p.m.
At these sessions we will guide you through the steps to making an objection and sharing tips and info to help with this. We have developed toolkits to provide women with the information, knowledge and evidence to help them object to the licensing of strip clubs in Cardiff. These toolkits will be useful both for women who have previous campaign experience and for those who have never been involved in a campaign before.
If you cannot make those dates, or need any other support, email us at nomorestripclubs@filia.org.uk
Let’s get your voices heard and tell Cardiff council that women in Cardiff do not want these venues of sexual exploitation any more!
This is a FiLiA Women's Assembly event and is for women-only. Read more about the #NoMoreStripClubs campaign at filia.org.uk/no-more-strip-clubs.
