ACTION: WOMEN AND JUSTICE IN THE UK

In the run up to International Women’s Day, FiLiA is focusing on the experiences of women experiencing misogynist crimes or incidents, and our confidence in the police in the UK. This will run throughout March.

We will use any data collected to prepare a report on women’s experiences with crime and reporting, and use it to call for improvements. All submissions will be entirely anonymous.

Here is how you can participate:

  1. #ReportIt

Have you been the victim of a misogynist crime or incident in the last six months? This could include crimes such as sexual assault, groping, upskirting and other voyeurism, Malicious Communications Act offences of online abuse, threats of violence, domestic abuse, and so on. It could include incidents such as catcalling or street harassment, online abuse which doesn’t meet the threshold for Malicious Communications, unsolicited dick pics.

We know that women frequently don’t bother reporting these - but if you can, please do, and send us the results.

  2. #CompleteIt

Whether or not you have been the victim of crime in the last six months, please complete our survey on women and policing.

  3. #ShareIt

Please share this with your friends! The more data we collect, the more useful the results will be.

Thank you for your help!
