Kakuma
Since 2020, FiLiA has been supporting our Lesbian Sisters from Kakuma refugee camp. Following our initial podcast we have continued to learn from, and advocate with these courageous women. They still urgently need our support an the Kenyan government becomes increasing hostile.
Women First
Women First is FiLiA’s project focused on harms caused to women in prostitution. Its purpose is to support local areas to improve their response and assist support staff who work with sex trade survivors.
FiLiA Hague Mothers
FHM is a global campaign which aims to end the injustices created by The Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, specifically for mothers and children who are victims of domestic abuse.
Womens Assembly
Join the FiLiA Women's Assembly to ensure that your voice, united with the voices of other women, creates a powerful force to influence decision-makers.
Campaigns and Policy
FiLiA’s aims are to build sisterhood and solidarity, to amplify the voices of Women (particularly those seldom heard) and to defend Women's human rights.
Women have long called for FiLiA to help them be heard in the local and national policy space. They have consistently and increasingly highlighted to us that their voices are not heard and are at times deliberately ignored by policy- and decision-makers.
Trade Union Women’s Network
The Trade Union movement needs Women and Women need trade unions.
Join the FiLiA Trade Union Women’s Network and be part of a growing feminist force fighting for power in our workplaces and unions.
We’re building solidarity across sectors to hold leadership to account, and put women’s voices at the heart of the labour movement.
