Ahead of International Workers Memorial Day (IWMD) in April, our next event will be a webinar on how women can make workplaces healthy and safe.

Traditionally, campaigning for health and safety at work has focussed on men with the risks to women under-reported, under-recognised and underestimated. Understanding the different risks faced by men and women, and tailoring solutions to diverse needs, is vital in successfully challenging dangerous working environments and practices.

The role of health and safety rep is also a powerful way for women to take up leadership at work and within unions.
