On Saturday 4th October, come along to a free FiLiA Women's Assembly and Women's Budget Group Women-only workshop in Cardiff, aimed at supporting women to harness the power of Equality Impact Assessments to ensure that policies work for women. Learn how to effectively challenge decisions and policies made by Public Bodies, including Government and Local Authorities. The Public Sector Equality Duty is behind you. This training will show you how to use it to hold policy makers to account. 

Equality Impact Assessments are a powerful tool to shine a light on decisions that don’t work well for women, or even actively work against us. No matter what type of campaign you are interested in, this workshop will help. It’s a really practical session aimed at women both already actively campaigning and those who would like to be more involved.

This relaxed session will start at 11am and finish by 4pm. We’ll have lunch and refreshments together throughout the day.
